Bowling on a Saturday

Saturday started out ugly with a chance for rain, so we decided to take the kids bowling. We had a wonderful time. Cole really liked the music and his pretzel. Samantha got several spares and one strike. She decided that she wants to go bowling for her birthday party. Yes, I did remind her it is not until August... she didn't care.

Samantha's ball looked like a watermelon. As we were leaving she spotted a kid Spiderman bowling ball in the pro-shop... now she thinks she has to have her own ball.

Cole throwing the ball. He went past the line a few times and busted his bottom.

When we left, after eating lunch and playing two games, there was not a cloud in the sky. It has turned out to be a beautiful day. We are spending the evening at a concert in the park of our neighborhood.

Soccer Season Ends!

Samantha is proud of her new trophy. She took it to school for show-and-tell. The best part is the soccer ball spins!

Harrison stretching with team before game.

Harrison between Maggie and Samantha stretching. He is so funny!

The team at the donut shop. All the kids were very eager to get their trophies.

They finally received the coveted trophies!

The soccer season is over! Samantha's team finished the season 4-2. The girls had a great time playing and the parents had a great time being entertained. Samantha's favorite part... getting her trophy.

Cole's Shiner

We got ice on it quickly so it didn't get to bad.

A few weeks ago Cole and I were at CVS. He picked up some binoculars and was walking around with them. He was busy looking through them when he walked into a display and gave himself a black eye. Needless to say I bought him the binoculars. Yes, he is holding the binoculars.

My "Boxes" Group

This is a wonderful group of ladies I had the pleasure of meeting. The group is a book study done at a local church. The book is "After the Boxes are Unpacked." We have been meeting over the past 3 months. I have been so moved and inspired by these amazing women. Each one the these women have such faith and spirit. They have helped me in so many ways. Houston has become home quickly because of this class. Some are friends I will have for life and some are just angels who have touched my life in this brief time in ways they will never know. I am truely blessed to call each of them friend.

Culley's in Texas

Here are some pictures from Galveston. Cole played in the sand while all other three played in the freezing water. Brian was the only adult that was crazy enough to get in the water with the kids. It was so cold but we had a great time.

Tracy, Brian, Sara Grace, Andrew, and Aunt Dell came to visit us in Houston after Easter. We had a great time playing with them. We went to NASA one day (it was so great), Galveston (it was COLD), and spend an afternoon at a park. It sure was wonderful having them here with us. Come back soon!
